Oswal Energies Launches ₹320 Cr Green Hydrogen Project
Oswal Energies has unveiled a groundbreaking ₹320 crore green hydrogen project, marking a significant leap for India’s renewable energy sector. The initiative received its first hydrogen electrolyser from Greenzo Energy, accelerating the nation’s clean energy transition.
The Future of Clean Energy: Green Hydrogen
Green hydrogen—produced by splitting water molecules using renewable power—is transforming energy-intensive sectors like transportation and manufacturing. Unlike fossil fuels, this clean fuel emits only water vapor, offering a sustainable alternative for India’s clean energy transition.
Key Benefits of Green Hydrogen
- Zero carbon emissions during energy generation
- Scalable solution for heavy industries
- Compatible with existing fuel infrastructure
Oswal Energies’ Renewable Vision
The company plans to initially produce 10,000 kg of green hydrogen daily, powering buses and industrial vehicles. This aligns with India’s ambitious renewable targets, similar to the NTPC’s solar initiatives. Future expansion aims for 50,000 kg daily production within two years.
Strategic Partnerships for Sustainable Growth
Greenzo Energy’s advanced electrolyser technology ensures efficient large-scale production. This collaboration mirrors successful models like the Iberdrola solar expansion, demonstrating how partnerships can accelerate renewable adoption.
A New Chapter for Indian Renewables
This project positions India as a green hydrogen leader, complementing existing efforts like Waaree’s solar advancements. As climate challenges intensify, such initiatives will be crucial for reducing fossil fuel dependence and meeting COP26 commitments.
